Attorney K. Clay Pendleton understands your need to have a responsive, flexible and available legal staff and attorney. Clay takes a proactive approach to family law. He can assist you with child custody, child support, post-separation support, alimony and equitable distribution. Clay will work one-on-one with you to prepare an effective Pre-Marital Agreement, Post-Marital Agreement or Separation Agreement. “I realize that when a person comes to see me, he or she is going through some of the most trying, difficult and emotional times of his or her life so I try and be as upbeat, positive and reassuring as possible to try and calm his or her fears and worries.” Clay not only offers the legal guidance you need but also a positive attitude and reassuring support.
Attorney David Simmons focuses primarily on real estate law. He is proactive, compassionate and accessible. Of counsel attorney Don Pendleton handles estate planning and deeds. Taking a practical and compassionate approach to cases, Don brings nearly six decades of legal experience to each case he works on. A pragmatist he gets straight to the matter, offering reasonable and doable options. If Don doesn’t know the answer he will work and research the matter until he does. Don deeply understands the process as he handles the estate planning for his own family and friends. Don also teaches Sunday School. When not hunting or fishing, Don is talking about hunting and fishing.
Attorney John F. Cutchin is the newest addition to The Pendleton Law Firm, but he is by no means new to the practice of law. John has been in practice since 1975 caring for the legal needs of folks in Catawba, Lincoln, and surrounding counties. Prior to joining The Pendleton Law Firm in October of 2020, John ran his own practice for nearly 42 years. John’s passion is the law and he will pursue that passion now primarily in the areas of family law and estate administration. John will use his knowledge and experience to work with you to achieve the best possible outcome in your domestic case. He will also help you navigate through the process of estate administration while showing compassion and understanding during a very difficult time.
