K. Clay Pendleton

Biography

K. Clay Pendleton is a dedicated family law attorney with over 35 years of legal experience serving clients in Lincoln and Catawba County. Clay is known for providing assertive legal representation and highly responsive client service. He handles a wide range of family law matters - including divorce, child custody, child support, post separation support, alimony, property division, adoption, termination of parental rights, and domestic violence - with the expert strategy, focus and determination needed to protect his client's rights at every stage.

After receiving his undergraduate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, he received his Juris Doctor from Wake Forest School of Law and was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar in 1987. Thereafter he joined The Pendleton Law Firm and continued the family legacy with his father, Don M. Pendleton.

Known for his client-focused approach, Clay makes accessibility a priority. He provides every client with his personal cell phone number and is committed to being responsive when clients need him most. Whether it's answering a quick question or discussing an urgent issue, clients can count on direct communication and consistent support 7 days a week. Clay is typically able to meet with new or existing clients within 24 to 48 hours and offers weekend appointments when needed. Clients know they can count on him to be there when it matters most.

Outside the office, Clay enjoys spending time with his wife, Carole, and their three children, and values the same family principles in his personal life that he works to protect for his clients.
